Richard has travelled extensively in Europe and has visited Italy, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, the Czech Republic and Greece. During his travels, he has visited many of those countries' important historical sites.

In his spare time, Richard enjoys music, reading, astronomy and sport.
